Predictive maintenance
Using available data in the ctrlX Data Layer, the Smart Service cynapse® Analyze with the Health Index analysis tool enables real-time analysis of drive train data and evaluation of the actual load on the gearbox. Uncontrolled downtimes are avoided, and availability is increased with appropriate recommendations for action regarding the service or replacement of the gearbox.
Process monitoring
Gearboxes with cynapse® in combination with Smart Services provide insights into the current and historic operating behavior of drive axes and production processes in order to recognize critical operating conditions at an early stage. Without any need for programming and easy-to-use as an app, precise threshold values can be determined automatically.
Enabler for higher-level features
Interference oscillations in the machine can be compensated with data from the smart gearbox and active intervention in the control unit. Higher achievable travel speeds result in increased productivity. In addition, a reduction in vibration amplitudes protects the mechanical components and reduces energy consumption.
