Topology
Heisenware connects to ctrlX OS devices via REST API and reads live and historic machine data. The platform can be deployed as a managed cloud service or hosted on-premises within the plant network for full data sovereignty. Browser-based apps and dashboards can be displayed on ctrlX HMI, ctrlX IPC and other browser-enabled devices. A native ctrlX OS app is planned for on-premises deployments.

Heisenware GmbH is a Hamburg-based software startup founded in 2021 by Dr. Burkhard Heisen and Gerrit Meyer. Heisenware develops a low-code IIoT platform that enables manufacturing companies, particularly SMEs, to build industrial apps, dashboards and MES integrations without deep programming knowledge. The platform supports OPC UA, REST APIs, S7, MQTT, SQL databases, ERP connectivity and many more integrations, and can be deployed on-premises or in a GDPR-compliant EU cloud.
