On September 29, 2026, Bosch Rexroth invites you to the 8th trade press conference for ctrlX AUTOMATION at Robert Bosch in Renningen, Germany. The focus of this press event will be on new solution sets for automation tasks, solutions for mobile humanoid robotics, AI in engineering, and the continuous development of both the ctrlX OS operating system and the ctrlX World partner ecosystem.

Together with Bosch Rexroth, the Tillmann Group has future-proofed an existing roll forming machine using the open automation system ctrlX AUTOMATION. The retrofit demonstrates how proven production systems can be seamlessly modernized and integrated into existing architecture.

Grossenbacher Automation extends ctrlX OS Ecosystem with Smart Panels, Web Panels and Smart Controllers

Bosch Rexroth has welcomed Swiss company Grossenbacher Automation AG as a new OEM partner for ctrlX OS. Grossenbacher Automation AG offers Smart Panel and Web Panel solutions as well as Smart Controllers based on the open Linux operating system ctrlX OS with ARM CPUs. In this way, it is expanding the ctrlX OS Ecosystem to include ready-to-use HMI-PLCs, HMI and control solutions for mechanical and plant engineering as well as other general automation applications.
