The Linux-based operating system ctrlX OS meets the requirements of the Cyber Resilience Act: Secure by Design, Secure by Default, and certified according to IEC 62443-4-2. The control platform ctrlX CORE is extended by a module that enables the use of artificial intelligence in automation applications. The core component is the Hailo-8 accelerator (26 TOPS), which allows efficient data processing directly at the source. The LumiScan Suite app from HD-Vision also facilitates the entry into AI-supported image processing. Integration into the existing controller enables cost-effective and scalable AI functionality without additional hardware and simplifies maintenance and update management.
