ctrlX HMI: Intuitive, flexible and highly efficient

The flexible HMI solution for all automation tasks

Rapid adaptability of machines and systems as well as networking define the industry. An increasing number of automation solutions therefore have a decentralized design and benefit from online support. ctrlX HMI is the basis for defining this flexibility through software and enables optimum usability with an attractive design and user experience. The solution meets the full range of automation requirements – from compact HTML5-capable web panels to powerful devices for complex processes. HTML5, a web-based HMI can be executed independently of hardware and across platforms on all devices.

Thanks to the integration with the ctrlX IPC platform, remote solutions are also easy to implement. Control panels can be flexibly installed up to 100 m away from the control system, without compromising performance or user comfort. With the versatile ctrlX HMI technology, users get an intuitive, advanced user interface – ideal for simple visualization tasks or demanding control applications. The user interfaces on all devices can be operated via an HTML5-capable web browser. ctrlX HMI thus allows platform-independent visualization.

CDI+ interface: the smart single cable solution for HMI

The CDI+ interface expands the possibilities of ctrlX HMI solutions. This innovative single cable solution transmits both video and touch functions over a single cable – and over distances of up to 100 meters.This simplifies installation. It also guarantees a clean and reliable connection between the HMI and IPC. Perfect for industrial applications where HMIs need to be located farther away from the control unit without compromising performance.

Easier and more flexible with web HMI solutions from ctrlX World

The web HMI solutions from the ctrlX World partner program enable individual visualizations optimized for the respective type of system. Thanks to HTML5 web technology and a central HMI server unit on the ctrlX OS control, the HMI solutions are completely platform independent. Therefore, the web interfaces can be run on all ctrlX HMI devices independently of the operating system.

The free HMI base template from the ctrlX HMI portfolio simplifies HMI development and thus saves time and effort.

The provided image elements, e.g. for image navigation, machine diagnostics or recipe management in modern web design, can be quickly adapted to customer-specific requirements. In conjunction with a corresponding PLC program with state machine, the HMI template provides the basis for numerous HMI applications.     

In combination with the powerful hardware platforms, the HMI templates enable intuitive use that optimally supports both simple and complex processes.
