As part of ctrlX SERVICES, Bosch Rexroth is creating the ctrlX AUTOMATION Community – a space for users for sharing, trying out, informing and interacting. At the same time, the Hotline team is also available to provide support 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Anyone who makes use of the advantages offered by the ctrlX AUTOMATION Community will be “Two Steps Ahead”. This is because, in the forum, users can enter into discussions and, for example, post any questions or ideas that they have or develop new solutions together with Bosch Rexroth’s team of experts.

Anyone who is currently trying to become better acquainted with a solution or would like to know how to get the most out of a solution often needs some tips and tricks. As such, the How-to section provides videos, technical instructions and articles designed to help users create the perfect automation solution for their needs. It also includes application examples which users can access and use as guidance.

Know-how is one thing and staying up-to-date is another – both in terms of technology and knowledge. As such, the ctrlX Store includes both apps developed by Bosch Rexroth and those from third-party providers, which can all be downloaded. This section also always features all the latest information about the apps, the SDK and other services. These include, for example, the ctrlX Device Portal, which is used, among other things, to manage and maintain device settings and for remote maintenance, and the ctrlX Configurator, for the simple configuration of automation solutions. In the ctrlX Store, users can access updates and see any new additions and improvements. All app-related content is located in this central location. Users can ensure that they always stay up-to-date via corresponding subscriptions.

The “Docs” section also supports the successful practical deployment of ctrlX AUTOMATION. Here, users can find all the product-related documentation they need for their work with the automation platform online in one place - always up-to-date. Search-optimized (tag-based) algorithms help to ensure that users find the right information. What’s more, all documents can be downloaded as PDFs, helpfully ensuring that the information can also be used offline.

24/7/365 global hotline: more than a helpdesk

Modern automation solutions are dependent upon high availability. As such, the direct line to Bosch Rexroth’s experts is, in many cases, essential. The Game Changers provide assistance, answer questions and solve problems 365 days a year.
