In the last years, Bosch Rexroth has created a new world of automation world. In 2021, the transition from open platform to industrial ecosystem was completed. Now we are taking the next step to enable even more freedom and openness in automation. In the past months, we have been intensively developing the next products and solutions. Experience them live at the trade fair "SPS - Smart Production Solutions" from 08 - 10 November at the exhibition center in Nuremberg at our booth 450 in hall 7.

Next level of openness and freedom: ctrlX OS
Experience the real-time capable, Linux-based operating system, which was previously used exclusively on the control ctrlX CORE and is now available as a separate solution for the industrial environment. ctrlX OS is hardware-independent, seamlessly connecting even more automation components to the entire ctrlX AUTOMATION portfolio, including the partner solutions from ctrlX World.

We will present the complete range of the automation toolkit ctrlX AUTOMATION system: Take a look at the different possible combinations of hardware and software components for individual use cases such as PLC and IoT or packaging applications and ask our experts how you can put together the best automation solution for your individual use case.

ctrlX AUTOMATION is characterized by its openness and scalability at all levels and app technology. ctrlX World – the partner world is growing
It is the goal of ctrlX AUTOMATION solutions to enable machine engineers to implement a fast time-to-market and users to produce as efficiently as possible. Energy-efficient solutions for automation
The topic of energy and resource efficiency has accompanied Bosch Rexroth for many years and is becoming increasingly important for the industry. At the SPS, you will learn more about our different solutions, such as the Smart Energy Mode in our drive system ctrlX DRIVE. The Smart Energy mode ensures a DC link voltage independent of the mains voltage and at the same time uses capacitors as energy storage devices. We will also present comprehensive tools and models for energy and power simulation, which make it possible to design energy-optimized systems.
Services for the entire life cycle
In order to solve your automation tasks in the best possible way, we pay special attention to services that accompany your machines and systems throughout the entire product life cycle. In addition to Device & Fleet Management, Bosch Rexroth services range from Engineering, Support & Information to After Sales Services. The ctrlX Digital Service Assistant enables access to all service tools and provides an overview of the status of the machines. The ctrlX Device Portal ensures the deployment of new software functions as well as the management and maintenance of device settings or remote maintenance.
