ctrlX AUTOMATION @ BCW 2024
From February 28 – 29, 2024, Bosch Connected World (BCW) will open its doors again. The event brings together the entire ecosystem of Bosch, its partner companies, and its customers. With the conference, the exhibition and numerous networking opportunities, BCW has become an innovation and business enabling platform.
With ctrlX AUTOMATION and the Linux-based operating system ctrlX OS, which has been opened to the market, Bosch Rexroth has made the leap into the new era of automation that thrives on co-creation. In the process, competitors become players and users and partner companies become active contributors. ctrlX World also stands for openness: The partner world is expanding the range of the automation system ctrlX AUTOMATION to include hardware and, in particular, apps. All aspects of machine builders and users are covered in order to engineer machines quickly and operate them with as little risk as possible.

Conference
As part of the conference, about 80 speakers will speak on digital trends. Thomas Fechner, Member of the Board Factory Automation at Bosch Rexroth, will participate in the opening keynote on "Performing today, shaping tomorrow" as well as in the "digital.industry" session on "Competing in disrupted manufacturing industries". Exhibition
A total of around 70 partners will place their solutions on the exhibition floor. We will also be represented with our automation system ctrlX AUTOMATION and show how co-creation succeeds by integrating our ctrlX World partners at our booth. Hackathon
In addition, the ctrlX AUTOMATION team from Bosch Rexroth will participate in the BCX Hackathon together with the ctrlX World partner Software Defined Automation. The AI & IoT Hackathon by Bosch and its ecosystem partners is a three-day event and is open to all new and experienced programmers, developers, UX and product designers.
