Delta robots
In a line with 12 Delta robots (4 axes, 75 cycles/min) and 6 vision systems, ctrlX OS controls 48 total axes. Robots pick 4 product types from moving conveyors and place them in trays with specific order, position, and orientation, coordinating vision, HMI, and machine logic.
Beverage application
In a beverage application, a Delta robot with a 1600 mm work area and 60 kg payload moves up to 3 water packs at 50 cycles/min. ctrlX OS ensures smooth motion with optimized jumps, avoiding acceleration spikes that would otherwise limit overall system performance.

Topology
The ctrlX OS device (for e. g. control platform ctrlX CORE) is the central hub of the system, enabling seamless integration and control. It connects to the operator interface, a third-party vision system that assigns missions to robots, and manages all Delta robots (each with 4 axes). Additionally, it controls the motion of various conveyors equipped with brushless motors and encoders, while the ctrlX I/O interfaces handle all machine edge signals and actuators. The system also connects to the web, supporting Industry 4.0 applications and remote control for enhanced operational efficiency.
