ctrlX OS apps registrated for automation app award

We are pleased to be taking part in this year's “automation app award” with two innovative apps: the Model Connect app offers an alternative to classic PLC programming. It connects ctrlX OS devices with powerful model-based software development systems that improve the efficiency and quality of software and simplify its maintenance.

The second app is the AI-based LumiScan Suite from ctrlX World Partner HD Vision Systems. It ensures effortless integration of vision systems directly on ctrlX OS based devices such as the ctrlX CORE industrial controller. The app also enables the necessary models to be trained on ctrlX IPCs or PCs. This is a user-friendly solution for commissioning and using vision systems, particularly in quality inspection and for pick-and-place applications in robotics.

The award is presented by the trade magazine Elektrotechnik AUTOMATISIERUNG in cooperation with the ZVEI (German Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers Association) for the best automation apps. The award winners are selected in an online voting process: users decide who receives the award. The award ceremony will take place on April 25, 2025 at the Vogel Convention Center in Würzburg.
