8th ctrlX AUTOMATION trade press conference

On September 29, 2026, the 8th trade press conference dedicated to the automation system ctrlX AUTOMATION will take place at the Robert Bosch GmbH Research and Development Center in Renningen. The event offers exclusive insights into current developments in the automation world and introduces new solution sets for specific automation tasks, such as those in the fields of building and energy technology.

In addition, we will showcase the interaction of open automation, intelligent software, and modern robotics - including a live on-site demonstration of a mobile humanoid robot.

This year's focus is on Artificial Intelligence in Engineering. New AI-based tools will support the entire machine lifecycle in the future – from development and commissioning to operation.

Furthermore, Bosch Rexroth will present the latest developments regarding the Linux-based operating system ctrlX OS and announce new partnerships. The steadily growing ctrlX World partner network is also being strengthened by new, well-known partners from the IT and digitalization sectors.
