NEURON AUTOMATION is the company uniting logi.cals GmbH from St. Pölten, Austria and ISH Ingenieursozietät GmbH from Kreuztal, Germany. Logi.cals was founded in 1987 as a software company, which it still is today. ISH Ingenieursozietät was founded in 1989 in South Westphalia in the northern Siegerland region, initially as a classic service provider for the development of industrial control electronics, later with a focus on machine safety.

Under the umbrella of NEURON AUTOMATION, you will find a unique combination of professional service to develop individual hardware and software solutions and a comprehensive toolkit consisting of pre-certified components as well as our innovative programming software for industrial control systems.

The toolkit of TÜV-certified components accelerates the development of safe hardware and software. The central component is a T3-certified engineering tool that can be used to program both safe and non-safe applications. The boundary between control and functional safety is removed.

In addition, NEURON AUTOMATION is significantly driving the trends in cloud-based engineering, new model-based development approaches, and integrations of heterogeneous tool landscapes.

By working with ctrlX AUTOMATION, users can be provided with a cloud-based development tool for ctrlX PLC programmability. This allows end-to-end browser-based development without the need for local installation of tools.
