Operating machines
Operation of a table saw with electrically adjustable stops. Instead of entering the dimensions via a control panel or retrieving the next cutting instruction from a recipe, this can be done through a voice command using a headset, which also serves as hearing protection. The operator has his hands free to handle the workpiece.
Maintenance
Maintenance technicians receive error messages audibly through a headset while they are moving between the various machines they oversee. Additionally, the technician is provided with information about the nature of the malfunction and possible solutions. This way, they already have this knowledge before heading to the malfunctioning machine.
Commissioning
During the commissioning of a new machine, the technician can give commands to the machine via voice without standing in front of the control panel. This allows them to be near the specific actuator they want to test and observe it directly. Benefit: a second commissioning technician is no longer needed.
