HELIO by HMI Project GmbH
Future-proof and Independent
HELIO uses web technology and is therefore platform-independent. It runs on all devices with an up-to-date browser - whether Windows, Linux, Mac, iOS, Android or ctrlX OS Devices. HMIs are stable, future-proof and flexible in terms of hardware and input methods such as mouse, keyboard or touch.
Optimized Usability
HELIO combines over 20 years of experience in user interface design in a design system with optimized controls and predefined templates for maximum usability. This helps to create user-centered HMIs - even without in-house UX expertise. Ideal for industrial use.
Flexibly Customizable
HELIO is fully customizable: from extensions and special features to own interfaces. With the help of the SDK, individual technical solutions outside the standard are possible. And HMI Project GmbH's UX/UI services are the perfect complement for demanding projects.

About HELIO by HMI Project GmbH
HELIO is developed by HMI Project GmbH. HMI Project was founded in 2011 by the designers Markus Buberl and Christian Rudolph in Würzburg and Philipp Kruse joined the team as technical director in 2015. Originally set up as a design studio, HMI Project expanded its portfolio early on to include software development with web technology. After many successful years in the service sector, the interdisciplinary team of 20 designers, usability experts and developers is now incorporating its industry expertise into HELIO's product development, setting new standards for high-quality, web-based HMIs in the industry.
