EtherCAT drive integration with ctrlX CORE
Bonfiglioli AxiaVert connects to ctrlX OS devices like ctrlX CORE via EtherCAT Master. Axis profiles and PDO mappings are configured in ctrlX I/O Engineering. Velocity, cyclic synchronous position and torque control modes are supported. Functional Safety features are available across different AxiaVert variants.

Combine Bonfiglioli AxiaVert inverter with Bonfiglioli asynchronous or synchronous motors and industrial or precision gearboxes, all controlled by ctrlX OS devices. Machine builders source the complete drive train from one supplier, reducing integration complexity and commissioning time.

Topology
Bonfiglioli AxiaVert Cabinet Control Drive connects to ctrlX OS devices via EtherCAT. The ctrlX OS devices acts as EtherCAT Master. Bonfiglioli asynchronous and synchronous motors with industrial and precision gearboxes complete the drive train. Device management is handled via the ctrlX Device Portal, while cloud connectivity is provided by Microsoft Azure.
